Concord Rangers with great ‘Hero’ initiative

Concord Rangers have made an impressive start to the season on the field and today they have made a great announcement to strengthen their community links off it.

Concord are welcoming local heroes by giving FREE entry to ALL Blue light Service or Armed forces staff this season for home league games.

Staff working in any of the following will be given entry to games at no charge:

– Firebrigade
– Police
– Paramedics (Plus doctors and nurses)
– Military

Valid I.D. Will need to be shown to the gate attendee on matchdays.

Chairman, Ant Smith said “Everyone in our country is aware of the fantastic and often extremely courageous jobs these people do for us all, this is just a little way of our club saying thank you”

The offer will start on Bank Holiday Monday when Concord play host to Welling United.

As I have said before, Concord seem to be getting it right this year. They have made some great signings and have started superbly in the league. Off the field they are getting it right too. Their social media coverage is unrivalled in this Division and sets the standard on how things should be done not just right now but for the future too.

This is a club going places and quickly. It will be well worth watching the journey – and if you are one of the people doing one of those courageous jobs then that journey will be a free watch.
