Cray Wanderers: The Talk

It’s not often you get to walk to your local library to listen and participate in a talk about one of your favourite Non-League teams so I could not miss out on the chance to pop along to St Pauls Cray Library this morning for the discussion on all things Cray Wanderers.

It was perfectly delivered by Club Historians Richard Bowdery and Jerry Dowlen and with an audience littered with connections from around the club including Chairman Gary Hillman it really was informative and entertaining. As discussed during the talks we have to hope that Cray get to have a place they can call home soon. The current team are delivering on the pitch, the management are delivering off it now we just need the powers that be to okay a move to Flamingo Park and my fellow locals will have London’s Oldest Football Club much closer to their doorstep.
Thanks to all involved and good luck with this season and the future plans.
