DULWICH HAMLET have signed the tallest reistered footballer in the country – funded by their supporters.
Hamlet don’t lack for height in their squad, with Magnus Okuonghae and Michael Onovwigun standing at 6ft 3ins, but even they will be craning their necks introducing themselves to their new team-mate: goalkeeper Simon Bloch Jørgensen, who stands half an inch under 6ft 11ins.
Jorgensen started his career with FC Copenhagen in Denmark and has had spells at Accrington Stanley and Whitehawk.
The signing of Jorgensen, 26, was funded by Hamlet’s 12th man scheme.
The keeper will go into their squad for the home game with Welling United on Saturday
