Greenwich Borough have had a productive day signing two new players that they hope will be able to help save them from relegation from the Bostik South East Division.
First in is young midfielder Joe Wicks on a month`s loan from SkyBet Championship neighbours Millwall.
A regular for the Lions` under-23 side during the first half of this season, Wicks recently spent a short loan spell with Bostik Premier team Kingstonian, for whom he made two starts in the past couple of months.
Second arrival is experienced defender Jamie Stuart who was Grays Athletic Manager until just a few days ago.
At 42 years old his appearances have been few and far between of late. Whilst remaining player/manager he started only three matches for Athletic last season, and this season he hasn’t featured at all- but the belief is that he still has enough in the tank to assist a young Borough side.
Both will go straight into Greenwich`s squad for tomorrow’s match with East Grinstead Town.
