McKimm strengthens Tonbridge Angels squad ahead of Play-offs

As the season runs down to its last six fixtures and the Angels find themselves in 3rd position Boss Steve McKimm acted on transfer deadline day to put goalkeepers Deren Ibrahim, and Sami Nabbad, and midfielder Joe Healy on 1st team forms.

While Sami will be available to Steve throughout the remainder of the season, Deren and Joe will only play depending on their own work commitments.

Ibrahim should be familiar to Angels fans as the ex Dartford and Gibraltarian international stopper had a brief loan spell with Tonbridge during 2014-15 when he starred in a shut out at Bognor Regis Town.

Nabbad is a promising young goalkeeper who has seen experience with AFC Wimbledon’s U18 Youth side.

For followers of South East non-league football, Joe Healy should need no introduction with the midfielder totalling in two different spells with Welling Utd 209 appearances with 38 goals sandwiched between a season at Maidstone United where he picked up the Players Player of the Year Award for 2015-16 and spell at Dover Athletic.
