Player Update for Dartford FC – 24th May

Dartford FC have today announced the signing of Ben Greenhalgh.

The 26 year old midfielder joins after spending last season at Concord Rangers, he also had previous spells at Hemel Hempstead and Maidstone United.

Adam and Jamie ” We are happy he has signed for the club, Ben is an exciting player who can play wide or central. He has played for Maidstone in the national league as well as Hemel and Concord at our level. He is a match winner who we hope will come up with vital goals and assists.”

Player Update for Dartford FC – 22nd May

Callum Driver is the first player to sign for Dartford as he joins Jamie Coyle in making the move from Welling United back to their previous club.
The 25 year old defender left Dartford in 2015 and went on to play for Maidstone, Hemel Hempstead and more recently Welling United.

Adam & Jamie ” We are delighted to bring Callum back to Dartford having been with us when the club was in the national league. The management team highlighted early on that the need for a right back was required and after having an excellent end of the season at Welling, Callum was placed at the top of our targets. We are excited to have him with us and look forward to him continuing to impress in the upcoming season.”

Elliot Bradbrook has signed a deal which will take him into a 10th season at Dartford.
Bradbrook will relinquish the captaincy next season in a bid to fit football around his work commitments. The 33-year-old looked certain to leave Princes Park this summer but has agreed terms with new joint-managers Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan.

Coyle and Flanagan said: “Everyone will be in agreement that Elliot’s service and commitment to the club is without question.

“After years of service Elliot has asked if the club could support him in the upcoming season alongside his work commitments.

“The management team are more than happy to help him with this as we feel Elliot will still be an asset to the team.

“As part of this agreement the captaincy of the side for 2018-19 will change. Elliot is a born leader and all the traits he has as a captain we know will remain with him when he plays.

“We are really happy to have retained Elliot and look forward to seeing him in a Dartford shirt once again.”

Goalkeeper Deren Ibrahim, who played second-fiddle to Berti Schotterl during the run-in, has also put pen to paper.

Coyle and Flanagan said: “Deren is someone who we are very excited to be working with next season.

“We have spoken to him and said what our expectations are.

“We have detailed the areas of improvement and we are looking forward to seeing him return to being one of the best keepers in the division.”

Player Update for Dartford FC – 19th May

After now speaking to all of the 2017/2018 1st team squad the Dartford management team have confirmed that the following players have signed a contract for next season.

Andy Pugh

Lee Noble

Tom Bonner

The club has taken up the option on Ronnie Vint and Mark Onyemah.

They have also confirmed the departures of Ryan Hayes, Alex Brown, Nathan Collier, Lyle Della Verde and Danny Harris.

The remainder of the squad are still in discussions or have been invited back for pre-season.

Adam Flanagan said “Jamie and myself are really happy with the players we have managed to retain and we hope to have further news in the upcoming week on players from last season and potential new signings”

Additional news sees Andy Young come in as goalkeeper coach replacing Barry Bell.

The new management team have provided an update on Alfie Pavey.

“On getting appointed, Adam and Jamie made immediate contact with Alfie’s agent,who advised them he was seeking to play at a higher level which we have always known is Alfie’s desire to do so.

Alfie is on our retained list however is free to speak to other clubs, and if he is to leave, because he is under 24 other clubs will need to negotiate with Dartford FC regarding compensation.
