Margate FC has accepted an approach from Dartford for experienced goalkeeper Louis Wells.
During his time at the club, Wells made 18 appearances, keeping six clean sheets.
Manager Jay Saunders has moved quickly to seek a replacement for Wells immediately announcing the signing of Kleton Perntreou.
The 24-year-old, 6 foot 3’ goalkeeper joins Hartsdown Park from Worthing and has previous spells with Welling United, Hibernian and Chelmsford City. For the past few weeks he has been providing cover at Chatham Town.
Perntreou has met and been training with his new team-mates this week and is available for this Saturday’s home fixture against Kingstonian.
With the Isthmian League deadline day fast approaching, there could well be some more news coming from HDP before the window closes.
