Triple signing for the Wings!

Ahead of Saturday’s season-opener against Dulwich Hamlet, Steve King has added the finishing touches to his squad by signing three players.

Nathaniel Pinney

Former Eastbourne Borough forward Pinney has also joined The Wings ahead of the 2018/19 season. Pinney has racked up almost 300 non-league appearances and scored well over 100 goals including 25+ goal seasons in 2015 and 2016 with Eastbourne.

The management team are confident they can get the 27 year old forward fit and firing again which will add a different dimension to an already talented squad. Pinney has also had spells at St. Albans, Carshalton Athletic and Woking amongst others since coming through at Crystal Palace.

Charles Banya

Also joining after a successful trial is 24 year-old Charles Banya. The former Fulham man has tasted promotion from this level with Maidstone in 2016 and has Football League experience from a spell at Crawley Town under Dean Saunders in League One. The wide midfielder/full back made just short of 50 appearances for Bostik Premier side Harrow Borough last term and scored seven goals.

Yannis Ambroisine

Talented centre back Ambroisine signs after impressing during pre-season with The Wings. King has stated that he would have loved to make Yannis one of his first summer signings but interest in the Frenchman from the Football League delayed putting pen to paper.

King credits Ambroisine as having a massive influence in last season’s revival at Whitehawk. 27-year-old Yannis also lists Leatherhead, Hayes & Yeading, Entente SSG and Montreuil Red Star amongst his former clubs.

The Club have also confirmed that Connor Dymond has left the club to join Vanarama National South rivals Hemel Hempstead Town.

Dymond joined the Wings last summer but with the arrival of JP Kissock, Dave Ijaha and Arnaud Mendy, first team football could not be guaranteed therefore Connor and The Club have mutually agreed to part ways.

The midfielder/defender/goalkeeper was popular among the supporters and we wish him well at Hemel.
