Twitter Followers League – SCEFL Premier Division

A list of Twitter followers for the SCEFL Premier Division teams. Probably not the most important table ever but it can be interesting to see how some teams view this avenue of getting a message out to a larger audience. It’s hard to get a good voluntary media person at teams at this level but for those that have got one it will certainly help with promotion of activities being done around the club.

A truly great job from Tunbridge Wells with a super total number of followers. Fisher return to this Division and clearly have the potential to get numbers through the turnstiles. Congratulations should be given to Glebe and Corinthian therefore who have to overcome their geographical naming issues to still get great followings.
The two other new guys are continually growing their online presence and a strong showing on the field in this League may well help that happen.
Bearsted still have a lot of work to do to promote their club via Twitter but it has not gone unnoticed of a recent effort to improve their numbers in this field.

*AFC Croydon do not have an official account so I have used their fans account as we all do when tagging them in posts but it is something they need to sort out if they want their club to grow on Social Media.

I have been monitoring it since the start of the year and most clubs have grown by around 100 followers in that time. The best increases have been from Chatham, Glebe, Canterbury, Sheppey, Erith Town and Punjab who have all added well over 200 to their tallies.
