Dartford clinch Barham signing

Jack Barham has joined Dartford FC ahead of the National League South 2020-2021 campaign.

The 24 year-old joins the Darts from Dorking Wanderers, ending a 6 month stay with the club after signing with Wanderers back in January this year.

Barham started his career at Heybridge swifts, before moving on to Tilbury, phoenix Sports, Greenwich Borough and then Barnet.

While at Barnet he moved on loan to Bromley and then to Welling United, where he played under current manager Steve King.

Jack eventually went on loan to Dorking Wanderers before making the move permanent in January.

Last season Jack played 20 games for Dorking scoring 7 goals. He looks back on his time there fondly and found the decision to move on a tough one:

“The decision wasn’t easy for me to move on but it was a decision I needed to make based on my career. I’d like to say a masive thak you to all the fans since coming to the club the support has been brilliant! You gave me my own song and got behind me every week so i’m grateful for that! I must now look forward to my new challenge but it’s been a pleasure”

Jack joins a club that narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League last week, but are sure to be among the favourites to do so next season.

Now that the playoffs have finished Steve King is talking to all the members of the existing squad and potential new players.
