Gary Alexander takes up new position

Gary Alexander did not take long in finding a new job as today it has been announced that he has joined Bostik South side Ashford United as Assistant Manager.
The official Ashford Website has revealed that Alexander will work as no 2 to boss Jason Whitmore and fill a vacancy created yesterday when Paul Barnes left that role to fill Alexanders previous role at Greenwich as announced Wednesday

It was only last Thursday night that the former Millwall man left his post at Greenwich Borough as he was not impressed when asked to cut back on his playing squad. Since then he has put the boots back on and had two games for Chatham Town FC, who play in the SCEFL Premier Division. He will play one more game for them before taking up his new role next week where his first game in his new role will be a trip to Cray Wanderers who of course have a certain Charlie MacDonald in their team!

Ashford currently sit in 21st place in the League and Gary will be keen to assist them in improving their away form where they are yet to win.
