Greenwich Borough have today confirmed another new signing to make it three new faces arriving at the DGS in the last few weeks since Paul Barnes took over. Omari Delgado-Hibbert has joined after leaving Corinthian-Casuals recently. He is an attacking player with a lot of experience in the Non-League scene having played for Carshalton, East Grinstead and Barking among others.
Earlier in the month Barnes moved to bring in Jack Tucker who comes on loan from Gillingham FC. The 18 year old defender has recently secured a professional contract will The Gills after impressing in the Youth set up there at Priestfield. He has already made his first team debut this season against Portsmouth in League One and also played against Reading in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The first signing was Michael McEntegart who joined from Ashford United so effectively had swapped places with George Kamarusi. The 28 year old Aussie Keeper has played under Barnes as coach in his time at Welling as well as Ashford FC. He has a wealth of experience starting out at Everton Youth before a three year spell at Hemel Hempstead, signing for “The Tudors” in 2009 before a brief spell at Carshalton Athletic and then a Full season at Chalfont St Peter before joining up with Paul at Park View Road in 2014 where he spent two seasons before moving on to Ashford FC.
Omari will join the two previous signings in the squad for the game on Saturday against Shoreham where Greenwich will be looking to continue their long unbeaten run.
