Greenwich Borough ‘Caretaker’ Manager leaves Club

Greenwich Borough are once again on the look out for a new First Team Manager after Aaron Taylor confirmed that he has left the club today.

Speaking on Twitter, Taylor wrote;
After a small time at the club I have decided to step down from my ‘caretaker’ first team manager role at Greenwich Borough F.C. .. I am very grateful for the initial opportunity but I did what I felt was best for my career and to move in the direction I want to manage and coach.

The Bostik South East club now look towards a 4th person to lead the side in this Calendar year after also parting ways with Paul Barnes and Gary Alexander.

Borough finished last Season in the Play-Off positions but lost out on promotion to Corinthian-Casuals and now clearly need to rebuild the Club quickly behind the scenes before assembling a team able to compete in this new Division before the Season starts next month.

Worrying times at the DGS Stadium.

The club kick-off their pre-season campaign next Saturday with a visit to Met Police. Who will lead the team out? We shall see…
