Ins and Outs at Welling United

Its been a busy week at Park View Road with both incomings and outgoings as boss Brad Quinton looks to shuffle his pack after a poor start to the season.

Leaving the club are Anthony Cook, Lexus Beeden and Rowan Liburd. Cook joined the Wings in the summer of 2019 and went on to become the Wings’ top scorer in the curtailed 19-20 season with some great displays from wide areas.

Liburd and Beeden linked up joined the squad in the summer and both made their debuts in our early FA Cup exit against Sheppey back in September.

Joining the Wings are striker Joe Taylor and defender Rob Strachan.

Taylor joins on dual-registration from neighbours Cray Wanderers as their season is currently suspended. Joe has been prolific for The Wands since joining in 2018, notching 45 times in 59 games and bagging 32 in 19/20.

20-year-old centre-back Rob Strachan joins on loan from Millwall and comes with a great pedigree having represented England at u16 and u17 levels.
