Joe Taylor makes Cray Wanderers move

Cray Wanderers have announced the signing of striker Joe Taylor from Margate.

Joe has spent a number of years with Margate from Youth teams up to 1st team & has been part of their Bostik Premier League campaign this season. He had a spell at Folkestone Invicta where he was top scorer for them in the 2016-17 season before returning to Margate for this season.

Margate earlier confirmed that Joe Taylor has been released upon his own request. The management team asked Joe to stay and fight for his place in the team, but Joe has decided that he would be better continuing his season at Cray Wanderers, a decision which the club accepted.

Joe joins a Cray team that sit 10 points clear at the top of the Bostik South East Division and he could be just the man to fire the goals that see them turn that breathing room into confirmed promotion.
