Kent Football United ladies side had an unfortunate end to their FA Cup campaign as they lost on penalties to League oppostition in Luton Town. KFU had taken a 68th minute lead when Lizzie Waldie converted from the penalty spot before Luton levelled the score shortly after. With no further scoring in normal or extra-time it was left to the dreaded spot kicks to decide the game but it wasn’t to be for our Girls and Luton made it through by 3 goals to 1.

Kent Football Utd had played 4 games until that stage winning comfortably in 3 of them before overcoming Ashford Town in a tense thriller most recently.

Ashford Town (Middx) LFC 3 – 4 Kent Football United LFC
Kent Football United LFC 9 – 0 Burgess Hill Town LFC
Kent Football United LFC 8 – 0 Victoire LFC
Kent Football United LFC 8 – 0 Herne Bay LFC

Away from the FA Cup, Kent Football have made a great start to their League campaign, winning all 4 of their games in the London & South East Regional Women’s Premier League.
