Lokko gets League move

Harrogate Town have revealed their fourth signing of the Summer, Kevin Lokko.

Dover’s Captain joins on the back of a productive season at Crabble in which he was named Supporters Player of the Season, having won Players Player of the Season the previous year.

The 24-year-old started his career at Norwich City where he was part of the 2012/13 FA Youth Cup winning side, though it was at National League South side Welling United where Lokko would get his first taste of senior football.

Lokko then switched Welling for Maidstone, before League Two Stevenage pounced to secure the services of the defender on a two-year-contract.

Loan spells in the National League at Dagenham & Redbridge and Dover followed, with the latter making the move permanent ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Appointed Captain by Manager Andy Hessenthaler, the left-sided centre half has been capped multiple times at England C level.

He is the 4th signing for newly promoted Harrogate following the arrival of Connor Kirby, Tom Walker and Jake Lawlor.

The Lokko transfer is subject to EFL and FA approval.
