Margate bring in a trio of impressive signings

Margate have announced a triple signing of experienced goalkeeper Louis Wells, midfielder Connor Dymond and striker Liam King.

Louis Wells joins The Gate from Billericay having had spells with Dartford, Basingstoke, Leatherhead and Concord Rangers, and will be available for tomorrow’s Bostik League match adding a great level of experience to the squad.

Connor Dymond joins Margate from fellow Bostik League team Kingstonian, where he has made 16 appearances and scored three times this year. The 24-year-old captained Crystal Palace U21s, as well as playing for Bromley and most recently Welling. He is a tough-tackling adaptable midfielder that will be a great addition to the squad.

Young striker Liam King joins from Tonbridge Angels and will also be available for selection in the match day squad for tomorrow’s game at home to Wingate & Finchley. He had scored 3 League goals for the Angels before leaving the club last week.

In other news, Margate have confirmed that goalkeeper Henry Newcombe has been released by the club.
