The Metrogas Invitational Cup has begun!
The tournament kicked off on the 10th April with 16 teams split into two Divisions each participating club will get plenty of much-needed game time.
Teams in each division will play each other once over the course of seven weeks with a planned final for the top two after that.
Although designed as a competitive tournament it is hoped that games will be played in the right spirit throughout.
The Divisions have been named after two individuals the club has lost over the course of last season. Former first team manager Micky Codling and Peter Hopper, father of current Reserve team manager and former player Gary Hopper.
Update – 16th April
Sutton Athletic Reserves have pulled out of the tournament and will be replaced by Bridon Ropes Reserves.
The Social Club at Metrogas will be open for outdoor hospitality from the 12th April in-line with Government guidelines.
