SE Dons make Saturday switch

 

SE Dons have announced their switch to Saturday Football – leaving behind a 10 year legacy at the top of Sunday Football.

They will join forces with established SCEFL First Division side Forest Hill Park, who play at the Ladywell Arena in Lewisham, and together aim to make a mark on the Non League game.

“We have given everything to Sunday League Football but now a NEW Challenge arises as we join Step 6 of the English Football Pyramid & begin our journey into the Premier League!” they announced on Sunday morning.

“They told us we’re just a ‘Sunday League Team’ & now on Saturday August 3rd 2024 our raid on Non League Football begins! This is a proud moment for all of the SE Dons family worldwide. Anything is possible when you work hard.”

Forest Hill Park released this short announcement;

“For the forthcoming 2024/25 SCEFL season FHP have formed a partnership with fellow local Lewisham outfit SE Dons.

Progressive discussions proved positive for us both …. we surely look forward to an exciting new chapter ahead…”

Former Sevenoaks Town boss Mark Dacey has been named as the new Manager.
