Super Sunday in the OBDSFL and WESFA!

This Sunday brought some HUGE games that decided the title winners in some of our local Sunday League Divisions

The biggest of the lot will saw Kumazi Strikers take the OBDSFL Senior Division honours out of the hands of the SE Dons thanks to a 3-2 win over Kenningwell.

In the WESFA Senior Division there was a classic First v Second match-up, with the winners becoming Champions. as Under the Radar beat Springhill United 6-0 so it is they that get to hold the trophy aloft.

In WESFA’s Divison Three the title was also on the line when Eltham Lions visited Orpington Eagles Reserves. Eltham needed a 4-goal win to take the top spot from Kingfisher but were never that dominant against an Orpington side desperate to jump into a promotion winning second place. After going behind Eltham went on to win the game 3-2 and will now join champions Kingfisher in the Division above.

There was also a OBDSFL Invitation Cup Final taking place at Hayes Lane with Lessa Albion facing Beckenham Rovers.
Congratulations go to Beckenham who ran out 4-1 winners.
