VCD Athletic begin Squad announcements
VCD Athletic have named the first few players that will be part of their 2020/21 Squad.
New Boss Nick Davis has needed to hit the ground running and among his initials recruits are people he knows well.
Among other roles Davis was a recently a First Team coach at Phoenix Sports and he has gone back to the Mayplace Ground to bring in a trio of experienced Isthmian League campaigners.
Jack Hopkins, Jack Barry and Ashley Probets all make the short move to Oakwood with the latter also taking up a coaching role with the Vickers.
Also new to the Club will be former Whitstable Town man Taylor Fisher, Luke Griffiths from Faversham Town and Bearsted’s Mateusz Wlodarczayk.
Retained from last season are goalkeeper Nick Blue, Aymun El Mogharbel and Henry Ikeije.
Further Squad members are to be named soon as VCD up their preparations ahead of an expected September 19th season kick-off.
Their backroom team will be made complete by Jason Powell and Damo Hopkins.
