Vines joins the Vickers

Paul Vines has joined VCD Athletic ahead of the Isthmian South East Division 2020/21 Season

The striker has most recently spent a few highly successful seasons at Chatham Town, winning multiple trophies and the Golden Boot but now joins Nick Davis and his rebuilt VCD side ahead of the new campaign.

Vines has scored goals wherever he has gone and can count Thamesmead Town, Greenwich Borough, Carshalton Athletic, Cray Wanderers and Bromley among former sides.

Davis has also announced that Malachi Hudson will return to the Club.

Malachi left the club last summer after making twenty appearances- and scoring five goals- during 2018-19. He arrived at Horsham, but that relationship sadly didn’t work out and off he went to Chipstead, where he played sixteen times last season.

The two latest recruits will link up with other recent signings James Fray, Kiki Oshilaja, Marcus Eliott, Emilio Hysi, Lea Dawson, Jack Barry and Jack Hopkins as VCD look forward to a September 19th start to their league campaign.
