Welling bring in Bettamer on Deadline Day

Welling United have made a deadline day signing, bringing in forward Mo Bettamer on loan until the end of the season from Barnet.

Mo, who celebrates his 26th birthday on Monday, joins the Wings after signing for The Bees back in November, following a prolific stint at Braintree Town which saw him score 6 goals in just 15 appearances.

Before making the step up to National League football Bettamer scored an impressive 29 goals in all competitions for Staines Town last season.

Bettamer has the capability to play as a left-winger, which will offer valuable versatility to manager Steve King in the run in.
