Wings Squad Announcements adn 2021/22 Season Fixtures

Welling United have began to announce the signings into their 2021/22 Squad.

Midfielder Olu Durojaiye has returned to the club for the upcoming season. Olu will be a key man in the engine room for Lovell’s Wings.

Powerful striker Dipo Akinyemi has also signed on for the 21/22 campaign. Dipo’s sensational performance in the win over Ebbsfleet earlier this year clearly impressed the boss! We’re looking forward to seeing more of that!

Next to sign for next season is defender Kristian Campbell. Kristian turned in some solid displays at full back and on the wing, scoring once, in his short time in the Wings red last season.

Next up from last year’s squad is wide man Stefan Ilic. Stef started last season in blistering form and will be looking for replicate that going forward.

Another announcement is that Ade Shokunbi has agreed to stay at PVR for the upcoming season.

In the second wave of signing it has been revealed that Lyle Della Verde is to return to Park View Road.

He will be joined by Sam Mvemba and Bradley Stevenson.

July saw the introduction of left-sided defender Chi Ezennolim plus Bradley Pearce, who joins from Sutton United.

Further signings are to be announced soon.

27th July – Worthing (Away)

31st July – Cray Valley PM (Away)

3rd August – Cray Wanderers (Away)

7th August – Bromley (Home)

All fixtures are subject to change

The Wings kick off their league season on 14th August when visiting Havant & Waterlooville.
