Hudson Out, Dacey In at Sevenoaks Town

Mark Dacey is the new Sevenoaks Town boss, replacing the departing Harry Hudson.

Hudson will further his football coaching career with an exciting role at Southampton with the Oaks seemlessly advancing Dacey up from his previous position as Assistant Manager.

The Isthmian South East side released this statement;

“Sevenoaks Town is delighted to announce that Assistant Manager, Mark Dacey, has stepped up to the position of First Team Manager and will be assisted by Junior James and Adam Flemming along with the rest of the existing backroom staff – Danny Rose, Julian Leigh, Kevin Rawlinson and Carly Payne.”

Dacey speaking on being appointed said : “I’m honoured to be passed the baton with massive shoes for me to fill. It’s a huge confidence boost that the chairman is happy for me to take over from Harry. I will look to add my own stamp on to what Harry has already created, we want to continue to be a free flowing attacking side who compete for the play offs. I’ve got a great group of players and staff, we have enough in our changing room to help achieve our goals”

Sevenoaks thanked Hudson for his spell with them;

“The Club would like to thank Harry for all his hard work and overall contribution to the whole club. We wish Harry every success as he continues his ambitions to coach at the highest level. Thanks for the amazing memories, we will look forward to watching your progress.”

Seveonaks Town are currently in third place in the table and next-up host Merstham this Saturday.
