New Boss and New Home for Orpington FC
Orpington FC have revealed that they will be playing at a new home for the 2024/25 season – plus with a new boss in charge of the team.
Orpington will play in the Kent County Division One West this year and ahead of that have made two big announcements.
“Our first team will now be playing at Oxford Road for the foreseeable future,” the club has revealed.
“This is all part of the plan to take the club back to where it belongs!!” the announcement continued, with Orpington making the early steps on their way back into the SCEFL.
Part of that plan has been to bring in an experienced manager, which they have done in the shape of Richard Dimmock.
Dimmock has previously been in charge at Welling Town, Lordswood and Meridian VP and is looking forward to his new role.
“I wanted to go to a club with ambition & a project and Orpington fitted those requirements perfectly. What the club has planned for the future is exciting and I can’t wait to be a part of that.”
Orpington are holding First Team trials at Goddington Park on the 25th June – Interest can be registered here.
