OBDSFL Clubs vote to Void the Season
Representatives from each OBDSFL club voted yesterday on how to decide the outcome of the whole league structure after the early end brought on it by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Here are the results.
Option 1 = VOID Competition = 37 votes
Option 2 = PPG = 20 votes
Abstentation = 9 votes
Therefore with Option 1 gaining the most votes the 2019/20 season will now be classed as Null and Void and all results expunged.
The Management Committee are now busy preparing a new structure for acceptance by member teams at the AGM.
Voiding the competition performed well in the vote due to the lack of games played by some teams in their league, for example SE Dons would have won the Senior Division on PPG despite only playing 5 out of their 20 league games.
