A list of Twitter followers for the SCEFL Division One teams. Probably not the most important table ever but it can be interesting to see how some teams view this avenue of getting a message out to a larger audience. It’s hard to get a good voluntary media person at teams at this level but for those that have got one it will certainly help with promotion of activities being done around the club. When done well it can even replace the need to invest in a professional website.
Figures from 28/11/18
|1||Erith & Belvedere||4047|
|3||Kent Football Utd||3026|
|16||Forest Hill Park||716|
So, as we see Erith & Belvedere are at the top of this League with an impressive number more seen at a level or two above this. The three sides at the bottom of this table are all using new accounts for this season which are growing nicely.
Having measured this since the start of 2018, and not including those three new accounts mentioned, the biggest increase has been made by Kent Football United, who have gained over 600 followers. Welling Town are next with a 550 jump. Most sides have grown by around 200.
