SE Dons appoint King as new Boss
Sunday League side SE Dons have appointed Ryan King-Elliott as their new Manager.
‘King’ replaces JR, who stepped down from his role last week.
The new Manager will be assisted by Flips, as his No 2.
A Club statement reads:
“We’re extremely proud to announce that @rkingelliott has been appointed as the New SE Dons Manager with @fxcklivinginpoverty as his No 2.
Kingy joined the Dons back in 2017 by Family ties as he is @crookseco younger cousin. On his first game, veteran @sill.benson walked into the changing room & said “if you man don’t sign King, I’m gonna burn down HQ”! He signed that day & hasn’t looked back since.
Although King steps in as the youngest manager to ever lead SE Dons he actually comes with a wealth of coaching experience. He has his UEFA B Badge but what impressed us the most during his interview is when he said “I love this club, I don’t want my name on the back of my shirt I just want silverware”
“We also welcome Flips into the management role & he has vowed to do whatever it takes to get this club back to the top of the mountain.
The gentleman begin this Sunday against Hatcham in the Nationals. We need ALL your support. Time to look forward & continue bringing success to the club. We believe Paula is looking down smiling on this appointment.”
SE Dons play in the Sunday Football League.
