Big name signing for Cray Valley PM!

Midfielder Lea Dawson has left Ashford United to join SCEFL Premier Division side Cray Valley PM.

Lea joined Ashford in the Summer and this season made a total of 19 appearances, including 17 starts, scoring once when he got amongst the goals away to Guernsey back in August.

Dawson made the move to Homelands from fellow Bostik side Cray Wanderers, where he was skipper for the previous three seasons and won the Supporters Player of the Year in 2016-17. Lea made 134 appearances over the three seasons scoring 20 goals as Cray made the Bostik North and then Bostik South playoffs.

He joins a Cray Valley side that are competing for honours on 3 fronts. They are firmly in the SCEFL Premier title race, have reached the Quarter Finals of the FA Vase and on Wednesday night welcome Corinthian to Badgers in the Quarter Finals of the League Cup.

It is certainly a signing of intent for the Millers!
