Ryan Huckle has become the latest player to be unveiled for next season’s revamped Faversham Town squad.
The tough-tackling centre-back, 19, impressed while on loan at Salters Lane from Gillingham last season.
He was released by Gills at the end of the campaign – and has now agreed to sign for the Lilywhites.
Joint manager Phil Miles said:
“We’re absolutely delighted that Ryan has agreed to join us.
“We know that he was highly sought after, but Ryan feels that Faversham Town is the place to kick-start his career again, and we’re really pleased that he has decided to stay.
“He knows the club and what we’re trying to achieve. He’s a quality signing and it sends a message about the standard of player that we are bringing in for the coming season.
“We are still in the process of talking to players, and there will be other squad announcements shortly.”
