After earlier unveiling Adam Coombes as the latest to join the Billericay revolution Glenn Tamplin has stepped it up a level by last night revealing that Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is likely to join the club
Coombes is a proven star at this level but Emmanuel-Thomas is proven a few levels above this.
He can count Gillingham, QPR and Bristol City as his former clubs and even has an Arsenal appearance in there from his younger days.
The 27 year old forward has England youth team caps and will be competing for his place in what is a very deadly looking attack at the Essex club.
Although the signing looks likely and he played in the friendly win over Maidstone Utd, Billericay were keen to confirm that the deal was not over the line yet though, whatever Tamplin says!
Billericay will start the next Season as favourites for the title in the National League South, to visit their website click here
