Teddy is a Keeper for Bromley
Bromley FC have announced the signing of highly-rated goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe on a season-long loan from Premier League side Chelsea.
Their second goalkeeper through the door this summer was part of the England U19 squad who won the European Championship in 2022, representing his country from U17-U20 level.
The 20-year-old began his career within the youth set-up at his home town side Leicester City before moving to Burton Albion’s Youth Academy in 2017 where he caught the eye of Chelsea.
The Blues secured his services in September 2020 before returning to the Brewers on loan for the 2020-21 League One campaign where he’d make his senior debut in the EFL Trophy against Peterborough United before coming up against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup.
Sharman-Lowe spent last season on loan at National League South side Havant & Waterlooville where he’d receive his first taste of regular men’s football, playing alongside fellow new Bomley signing Josh Passley.
He also represented England U20 at the FIFA U20 World Cup in May, making his debut against Iraq and keeping a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
Sharman-Lowe will compete for the Number One spot with Grant Smith, who was confirmed to have joined The Ravens from Yeovil Town earlier this month.
The 29-year-old, who spent the past two seasons in the National League with the Glovers, began his career within the youth set-up at Reading and Fulham before joining Brighton & Hove Albion’s development squad.
The two keepers have been joined by Sam Woods, Cole Kpekawa and Josh Passley, as new signings at Hayes Lane, as Bromley look to strengthen their squad in anticipation of a promotion push in the coming season.
