Woking bring in Dave Tarpey
Woking Football Club have announced the signing of Dave Tarpey on a 28-day loan deal from Vanarama National League side Barnet.
Tarpey, 30, is a striker who started his career at Henley Town, before joining Basingstoke Town in 2007. In 2009 he signed for Hampton & Richmond Borough, where he had loan spells with Walton & Hersham, and Chertsey Town. He then spent 18 months at Farnborough before moving back to the Beveree in January 2014.
At the start of the 2014/15 season Dave signed for Maidenhead United where he scored 36 league goals in his first two seasons, and then in the 2016/17 season he scored 44 goals in 41 league games to help Maidenhead win the Vanarama National League South.
Barnet, then in League Two, signed Dave from the Magpies in August 2017, unfortunately he injured his ACL in only his second appearance for the Bees, which ruled him out for the remainder of that season.
He know joins Woking for the next month in a bid to regain fitness while shooting the Cards towards the National league South title.
